Opera Star DAVID SERERO will perform an Open-Air concert for the Festival of Morocco “Gate of Africa” on the Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C, on October 1st.

Opera Star David Serero will perform a concert during the Festival of Morocco's “Gate of Africa” in Washington, D.C on October 1st at 5 pm. This concert will take place on a giant stage right on the Freedom Plaza.

David Serero, born in Paris and recently moved to New York, is no stranger to Morocco, the country of his ancestors. David Serero feels like a proud Jewish Moroccan and never misses an opportunity to promote the love between his lands and the culture of Morocco and the United States.

Recently, David performed with brio for the Princess of Morocco Lalla Joumala, Ambassador of Morocco in the United States, for the Feast of Throne Celebration in Washington at the Organization of America States.

In June 2016, David Serero starred in Shakespeare’s Othello’s title role in a world premiere adaptation in a Moroccan style.

Over the last three seasons, Serero has enchanted American audiences who have quickly fallen in love with his personality and unique combination of styles. He has recently released his new album BARITONE OPERA ARIAS featuring Toreador (Carmen) and arias from Tosca, Nozze di Figaro, Fanciulla del West, and Barbiere di Siviglia. In April 2018, David Serero will bring in New York his favorite theater classic: Cyrano of Bergerac! And in June 2018, you will see him starring as Don Giovanni (Opera by Mozart).
