Previews begin January 26 for a February 3 opening.

REVIEW: Company XIV has a unique signature of show delivery (See our previous glorious reviews). After playing Cinderella and Nutcracker Rouge, both innovative, the one question that is on everyone's lips is: How are they going to reach beyond what they've already accomplished? The answer is in the genius of Mr. Austin McCormick. He will find and imagine what no one will. In this Snow White production, the use of the video medium is stronger than with any other of their past shows. Having the video being the POV of the audience is simply genius. The impeccable costumes of Zane Phihlstrom, the wonderful production of Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew, and the makeup design by Sarah Cimino are beyond revolutionary. All the cast deserves kudos for this fantastic performance and their diversity. Lea Helle delivers her German charms and talents. The iceball filled with lights and the acrobat skills with hoop gymnastics, all prove that once again Mr. Austin McCormick and Company XIV are the most creative talents on earth. Sell your house if you have to, but go to see this production. You won't regret it.

Company XIV’s erotic and sensual Snow White, inspired by the Brothers Grimm version of the beloved fairy tale, blends circus, opera, dance, theatre, music, high fashion, and lavish design. Enjoy a libation as you immerse yourself in this thrillingly unique fusion of nightlife and theatre. Dark, dangerous, and decadent. The show contains partial nudity – 16 & over admitted.

The cast includes Hilly Bodin, Marisol Cabrera, Laura Careless, Courtney Giannone, Lea Helle, Nicholas Katen, Malik Kitchen, Mark Osmundsen, Davon Rainey and Marcy Richardson.

The design team includes Zane Pihlstrom (Costume and set Design), Jeanette Yew (Lighting Design), and Sarah Cimino (Makeup Design).

The production team includes Nataliya Vasilyeva (Production Stage Manager), Emma Greger (Company Manager), Audrey Nauman (Wardrobe Supervisor), and John Starmer (Technical Director). Company XIV is sponsored by MAC Cosmetics.

Company XIV and Artistic Director Austin McCormick continue to garner critical acclaim. The New York Times calls McCormick’s work “inventive and brainy, a high-entertainment mix of music-hall, cabaret, theater and dance” and praised Le Serpent Rouge as a “sensuous marvel.” Company XIV’s critically acclaimed Nutcracker Rouge was called “dazzling and genius” (The New York Times Critics’ Pick), “the perfect hot date” (TimeOut NY Critics’ Pick), and the year’s “sexiest dance performance” (Paper Magazine). Metro NY says the company has “world-class talent.”

Company XIV’s work is a unique mash-up of classical texts, Baroque choreography, eclectic music, pop culture, opera, burlesque, ballet, gender-bending, high fashion, theatrical staging, and sumptuous design that has wowed both audiences and critics. Company XIV shows are cutting-edge, yet extravagantly classical. Taking his cue from theatre/dance/opera under the reign of Louis XIV, director/choreographer Austin McCormick creates a compelling 360-degree experience for audiences. The players of Company XIV are theatrical libertines, who tempt, delight, and fully immerse their audiences in the experience of their performances, inviting them to be seduced and liberated!

Austin McCormick holds a BFA from the Juilliard School and is a graduate of The Conservatory of Baroque Dance. He is an alumnus of the Harid Conservatory and North Carolina School of the Arts. In 2006 he founded Company XIV, hailed by Black Book Magazine as an ‘Icon Of The Future.’ The company works in the mediums of live dance/theater and film. The work is contemporary, yet Baroque-inspired. McCormick was nominated for a 2015 Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Choreography for Rococo Rouge and he won a 2009 NY Innovative Theater Award for Best Choreography for The Judgment of Paris. His work has been performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center’s Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Alice Tully Hall, Clark Studio Theater, Symphony Space, The Flea, Alvin Ailey Theater, Walter Reade Theater, Mark Morris Dance Center, and internationally at the Biblioteca Palafoxiana in Mexico, the Roxy Art House in Edinburgh, and Usine C in Montreal. McCormick’s work has been seen at the TED Conference, on Logo’s New Now Next Awards, and on TLC’s “The Cake Boss.”
