Newly Formed LCRF Young Professionals Committee to Host its Inaugural Event on May 19th

New York — The Lung Cancer Research Foundation (LCRF) has created a Young Professionals Committee to engage and motivate young professionals, ages 35 and under, to become more involved in the Foundation’s mission to improve and save lives by funding groundbreaking research for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of lung cancer.

For its first event, the LCRF Young Professionals Committee is hosting an evening of cocktails on Thursday, May 19th at No. 8, one of New York City’s premiere event venues, to raise funds for the Foundation. Join more than 100 of the city’s young leaders from a range of industries including real estate, fashion, finance, medicine and more, as guests enjoy an open bar sponsored by BULLDOG London Dry Gin, Maison Belle Claire and Alacran Tequila, and entertainment by DJ Noam. Tickets are available for $75 through May 1st and $100 thereafter.

The Committee plans to cultivate membership, fundraise and increase awareness of LCRF’s mission through a variety of social events and networking opportunities held throughout the year in New York City and the Hamptons, including wine tastings, happy hours, movie screenings and fitness activities.
