NEW YORK CITY ADDED TO FESTFORUMS ANNUAL SCHEDULE FestForums Announces Second Conference in 2016

FestForums, a festival-industry conference, whose annual, flagship event takes place in Santa Barbara on November 19-22, 2016, has announced a second Conference in New York City that will be held on April 27-28th, 2016.

FestForums are networking and professional development conferences for music, film, food, wine, beer, and beverage festival organizers. The New York Conference begins Wednesday, April 27th, at 5 pm at The Cutting Room with the La- Gunitas Brewing Company's Opening Reception. The evening will offer Conference registration, a networking session, and a special musical performance. The Cutting Room is co-owned by famed actor Chris Noth, who has starred in “Sex and The City," “Law & Order” and "The Good Wife.” Past performers at the club include Judy Collins, Emmylou Harris, Neil Young, Sting, Howard Stern, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow and Pete Seeger.

On Thursday, April 28th, the full-day Conference will kick off at 9 a.m. at the beautiful, new headquarters of Time Inc., located downtown overlooking the Hudson River. Panelists include the producers of the New York City Wine and Food Festival, Charleston Food & Wine Festival, Los Angeles Food and Wine, Firefly, Governors Ball, New York Festivals, Ani-Maze, Global Citizen Festival, Live Nation Festivals, Ultra Music Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, The CBGB Music & Film Festival as well as dozens of other festivals. Other speakers include Event Producer Scott Mirkin (2015 Papal Visit to USA, Made In America Festival), Sponsorship guru, Relix Founder Peter Shapiro, sponsorship guru Lesa Ukman, John Sloss (Executive Producer of over 50 films, including Academy Award winners Boys Don’t Cry and Fog of War ) and filmmaker Amy Berg (director of Academy Award-nominated documentary Deliver Us from Evil).

After a full day of panels, networking, a luncheon hosted by inVNT Global Brand Communications Agency, and keynotes, the Conference will conclude with a cocktail party hosted by Eventbrite.
