27th New York Sephardic Jewish Film Festival Returns June 8–15, 2025
A Week of Film, Music, Culture, and Celebration Across New York City!

New York, NY – The American Sephardi Federation is proud to announce the return of the 27th Annual New York Sephardic Jewish Film Festival (NYSJFF), taking place June 8–15, 2025, in the heart of New York City. This landmark edition promises an unforgettable week-long celebration of Sephardic cinema, culture, music, and community.
Opening Night – June 8 at El Museo del Barrio
The Festival opens with a star-studded Pomegranate Awards Ceremony, honoring trailblazers who have made lasting contributions to Sephardic arts and culture:
• Yael Naim – Music
• Roya Hakakian – Literature
• Michel Boujenah – Stage & Screen
• Fortuna – Cultural Preservation
The Pomegranate Awards, sculpted by world-renowned Baghdad-born artist Oded Halahmy, will be presented in a dynamic evening of celebration, highlighted by an exceptional live performance by Fortuna with Trio Mediterraneo, featuring Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Frank London.

Closing Night – June 15
The Festival will conclude in grand style with a live concert by legendary performer Enrico Macias, celebrating the enduring spirit and musical legacy of Sephardic Jewry.
