Houston TX (February 1 2024) - Robbie Parrish, lifetime career drummer and sought after sonics expert announced today the highly anticipated debut of his third of five new releases. The first two albums, “Elements Of Friendship and Still Brothers After All These Years,” were released in the fall and winter of 2023, with three more scheduled for the first quarter of 2024. Robbie Parrish is a noted sonics expert and career drummer who has either performed with or tuned drums for such notables as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Tommy Tune, Annie Lennox, Elton John, Edgar Winter, Leon Russell, Gloria Gaynor, Gladys Knight, The Temptations, The Checkmates, Quincy Jones, George Jones, Grace Jones, David Bowie and more.
Along the way, Robbie performed repeatedly with the creme de la crème of touring instrumentalists and session players. These five albums are the culmination of creative inspiration that top-rated musicians whom Robbie has known for decades collaborated on.
Next up for release is “Perfection To Simplicity 9”. Athirteen-track release featuring Darrell Lavigne (keyboards), Chris Maresh (bass), Guilherme Fonseca (lead guitar), Robbie Parrish (drums), and “Perfection to Simplicity 9” was recorded at Smilin' Castle Studios Kyle Texas with mixing handled by Dennis Moody and mastering by Mark Hollman.
