Quinten Tyvon is a rising singer and songwriter originating from South Florida. With musical grandparents, Quinten began singing at the young age of five. Engulfed into music throughout his childhood, Quinten knew what resonated with him the most. Quinten attended FSW college pursuing audio production, before leaving to pursue a full-time career in music.
How music was brought to your life?
I grew up in a musical family. Both on my mother and father's side of the family there were singers, musicians, and creatives. I first started at my great uncle's church at the early age of five.
Who are your musical influences and why?
My music influences consist of Sam Cooke, John Legend, Chris Brown, and Stevie Wonder. Each of these artists is undeniably talented and two create magic all while staying in their own lanes. it’s very inspiring in a sense.
In your new single « All For You », we can feel the sun of your native Florida. Do you believe that this impacted your music?
I wouldn’t say that this directly had a lot to do with the sound that we came up with, but we
did want a summer vibe that was catchy and moving.
You started singing at a very young age, do you believe that it helped you to get you such a large range?
I'm conjunction to starting early, truly loving the art itself kept me working at it oftentimes, not even being aware that I was actually singing lol.
Your new hit single « All For You » is gaining international recognition and is perfectly produced. Please tell us about the process of making this gem.
Thank you so much for this. The process of making ‘All For You’ was a challenge but also an incredible adventure at the same time. After we had the flow/lyrics together, I laid down the vocals with a completely different idea in mind as to where I wanted the song to go. Towards the end of the process, my team and I felt as if we could really go a different route with what we had, and yeah what you hear is what we came up with!
What are you working on? What are your future projects?
There are a couple of surprises in the near future. I won’t say too much but I promise you it’s coming.
How do you see the future of the music industry at the time of COVID-19?
I feel that now is a great time for artists, and the industry to really connect with their fans/supporters via the social media world, and continue to build as much as they can, given the current circumstances.
