From India to the Paris Runway: Meet Kyathi Ravi

Making her Paris Fashion Week debut with Fayah and Too Match, the Indian model brings ambition, a thoughtful perspective, and a love of fashion to a new chapter in her career.

For a model arriving in Paris, Fashion Week represents more than a place on the runway. It is an opportunity to enter a new creative world, meet the people shaping it, and begin finding her own place within it. For Kyathi Ravi, this season marked that moment.

After building her modeling career in India, Ravi moved to Paris to pursue new opportunities while continuing her education. At Paris Fashion Week, she walked for two labels, Fayah and Too Match, an experience she describes with unmistakable excitement.

“This fashion week, I walked for two designers, Fayah and Too Match, and it was a dream to be part of both shows,” she says.

For Fayah, Ravi wore a black-and-white outfit in a show produced by Revive Fashion Week. Her appearance for Too Match appearance brought a different mood: a silver ensemble presented at Shangri-La Paris, organized by Fashion Forward Paris. The two appearances introduced the variety of creative voices she hopes to work with as her career develops in France.

Behind the runway appearances is a woman whose interests extend beyond modeling. Having completed an engineering degree in India, Ravi is now studying brand management in France. That combination has sparked interest in how fashion moves from a creative idea to a brand with an identity and an audience.

“I love seeing fashion from both sides: the creativity on the runway and the strategy behind the brand,” she explains.

This perspective makes her Paris chapter about more than being photographed in beautiful clothes. She is also learning about the industry around her: its relationships, its decisions, and the work that gives a collection its life beyond the show.

Moving to a new country has brought its own adjustments. Ravi describes adapting to Paris and the French way of life while gradually building a network of industry professionals. Each encounter helps her establish herself in a city she chose for both her studies and her modeling ambitions.

Amid that change, yoga remains a constant. As a dedicated practitioner, she credits it with keeping her grounded, calm, and focused, qualities she carries into her work and everyday life.

Her outlook is hopeful and direct: “I’m grateful for every opportunity so far, and I’m excited to keep growing and see where this journey takes me.”

With her second Paris Fashion Week appearances behind her, Kyathi Ravi is beginning to write a new chapter. Between the runway, the classroom, and the daily discovery of a new city, she is building a life in fashion with curiosity, purpose, and room to grow.
